As usual we wake up in the morning and went to school for our microbes and infection lecture. Dr Bessie fong teaches us acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS) which is cause by human immunodeficiency virus(HIV). HIV there are 2 types and they keep mutating which make it very difficult to identify. Next is human papilloma virus(HPV) is double-strand DNA, non-envelloped which mean cannot kill with alcohol. As Dr bessie said that they are very infectious. Lastly she mansion smoking is an independent risk factor development of cervical cancer even after adjusting for the effect of HPV infection. After lesson we take MTR to tai koo because there are two shopping mall over there which called kornwall plaza and city plaza then we shop around it and went back to hostel and that is the end of our day.
