We arrive at HK airport and we met Dr helen Wu, she then took us to hostel to settle down and then she brief us about which subject to take. We decided to pick up animal cell culture and biochemical techniques. After that we head on for our lunch and was undecideable on what to eat as we have to check 4 amin hu is muslim and he cant eat pork. In the end we went to the nearest japanese eatery which is suitable for all of us. We bought some neccessities back for our daily use such as colgate, bread,milk which might be useful. We called our HK friends,meg once we bought the prepaid card and was activated. Followed by that we went downtown and head for hK-IVE the chai wan branch and timed h journey taken. And it was a total of 1.5hour from our hostel in tsing yi.
During the first day of our GEP, we have learn to take care of each other so that whne there is obstacles, there are friends who will be there for us to overcome such obstacles.
Tomorrow(9/10/2008) is still not sure if there is lesson going on for us as doctor helen wu brief us that there will be a theory lesson on the animal cell culture. but when we called meg, she says that lesson has been cancelled. We have yet to comfrim to Dr. wu as we still cant get through her.
Thus, we will be having lunch with ting and her friends tomorrow afternoon and shall head for lesson if there is. If not we will follow ting and her friends to a talk about a module that they will be taking and doing a presentation.
